Selling a business, or looking for one to buy, in another market.
KRAKUM introduces business owners who want to sell to qualified buyers from other countries, and helps buyers find businesses that are not listed anywhere. Discreet, prepared and personal.
If you are selling
You have built something that works and you want the next owner to be the right one, wherever they are. We prepare an anonymous profile with you, take it to buyers in our network who fit, and introduce you only to the ones you approve.
Talk to us about sellingIf you are buying
You know what you want to acquire and where, but not who to call. We search quietly among owners who would consider a sale, bring you prepared profiles, and sit alongside you from first call to completion.
Talk to us about buyingHow an introduction happens.
We listen
A first conversation, under NDA, about the business or the brief: what, where, how big, why now, and what a good outcome looks like.
We prepare a profile
Two pages, anonymous, factual. Enough for the other side to say yes or no honestly, and nothing that identifies you.
We ask our network
Investors, operating companies and advisers across Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Nothing is posted publicly.
We introduce, once both sides agree
Names are exchanged only after a signed NDA and your approval. Then we stay close: information exchange, momentum, and partner lawyers and accountants when the deal needs them.
Who this is for
- Owners of established businesses in Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East or Asia-Pacific who want to sell to a buyer from another market
- Investors, family offices and operating companies looking to acquire a business in a country where they have no network yet
- Founders who want a strategic partner or a majority investor from abroad
What we do
We listen first. Then we prepare a short, anonymous profile of the business or of the buyer's brief, and we go to the people in our network who fit. An introduction happens only when both sides have said yes. After that we stay close: we help with the information exchange, we keep the conversation moving, and we bring in lawyers, accountants and valuation specialists from our partner network when they are needed.
What we do not do
We are not a broker platform and we do not list businesses publicly. We do not give legal, tax or audit advice ourselves. We do not take a fee from both sides of the same transaction without telling both sides.
Confidentiality
Every conversation starts under a non-disclosure agreement. The name of a business is shared only with a buyer who has signed one and whom the seller has approved.
Questions sellers and buyers ask.
How do you find buyers?
Through the network we have built over ten years of research and media work: investors, operating companies and advisers across Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. We ask them directly. Nothing is posted publicly.
What size of business do you work with?
Mostly owner-managed businesses with a few years of profitable trading, from small specialist firms to companies with a few hundred staff. If yours is outside that range, ask anyway. We will say honestly whether we can help.
How are you paid?
A modest retainer to prepare the profile and run the search, and a success fee on completion. The terms are written down before we start, and we tell both sides who is paying us.
How long does it take?
Preparing a profile takes two to three weeks. First introductions usually follow within two months. A completed sale takes longer and depends on the buyer, the diligence and the lawyers.
